An audio journey documented with painstaking precision, Doctor Jolly's Fifth Dimension (DJ5D) takes the listener through the soundscapes of a multi-dimensional trip involving output from esteemed musical practitioner, Dr Jolly.

Mixing Dr Jolly's previously released tracks with current releases from artists including, Acid Rockers, Juno Mambo and Artefakt and concept mix defining offerings from Burial and Daphni, pablo de pablo has created the ultimate soundtrack to an alternate dimension journey.

pablo de pablo explains, 'the skeleton of the mix, the stuff that holds it altogether is the soundbed that Doctor Jolly's music offers, its a document of Dr Jolly's audio experience through the Fifth Dimension so using his output as the base upon which to drive the storyline and its narrative was vital.'

Including special guest appearances from the late, great Bob Holness - also Denzel Washington, David Hasselhoff, Ad Rock and James Fox - Doctor Jolly's Fifth Dimension combines spoken word samples with film scores and pablo's own audio-bite textural layering.

This journey through another dimension allows the subject to understand the true apocalyptic damage that has been done to planet earth by the human race.

Its starts by asking 'what were the skies like when you were young?' a sample that hints at the ecological motif that runs through the rest of the experience.

'Those forces that drove the audio experience documented in DJ5D are fashioned by the doom created by the human race on planet earth,' states pablo. 'the final part of the journey speaks of a burning planet only for the Doctor to be abandoned on a frozen one,' he continues. 'Its rated 18 cos its scary.'
